Were you able to follow the steps as detailed in this guide? If you did, please try the following steps:

1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try to access the Braintree’s dashboard using a different browser or device.
3. If you’re still unable to access the API screen, it’s best to contact Braintree’s support team directly. They should be able to assist you with accessing the API screen.

Let us know how it goes so that we can be able to proceed with getting Braintree to start accepting payment on your store.

Taking a look at your account details, it looks like you are set up with PayPal Powered by Braintree. The PayPal Powered by Braintree configuration is a bit different from Braintree Direct for this reason you do not have access to the API Keys. If you want to access the API Keys, your account must be Braintree Direct.

Yes, as mentioned in our doc, you need a Braintree Direct account. You can contact Braintree Support again for assistance with switching your account from PayPal Powered by Braintree to Braintree Direct. Once your account has been switched, you can access the API keys and reconnect Braintree to your WooCommerce store.

Accounts cannot be “switched”. If you have an older Paypal Braintree account, you will need to sign up for a new account. This will take 2-3 business days to complete. We were never notified that our account was now a legacy account. We are moving to a different provider.
