Site empty after update

    (sorry for mistakes, I’m not English)
    After updating WordPress, my site is empty.
    12 year old site, therefore with hundreds of pages and articles. Everything disappeared, everything erased.
    I contacted my server who asked if it may have been due to the wordpress update.
    What can I do? What may have happened?

  • Do you have a backup? Then play that. If you don’t have one yourself, talk to your hoster’s support about it. If he doesn’t have a backup either, things don’t look good.

    I will contact my server more insistently.
    Even if they say it’s a plugin’s fault.

    Luckily, I have plenty of backups, of the site and database.

    I also wanted to understand what it was so as not to make mistakes again.
