    Hello,

On the website airavis.fr we use the theme BENTO for graphics and options and we are very happy.

However since the last update of the theme the option “Hidden information of the author as well as the date of the article” does not work any more and therefore on the site the date as well as the author reappears.

    Could you fix this problem?

    I thank you in advance

    Regards,

    Hello Anthony,
    thanks for choosing Bento!
At the moment I can see that the author box does not display in your blog (e.g. a single post) – am I looking in the wrong place?

    Hello Satoristudio,

no it does not appear on this page, but appears on the search results page when you go through the search bar on the homepage.

Before the update it did not appear!

    Thank you for your reaction

Alright, this is the detail I needed ?? Here’s an example of a search query page from your website – there are no author blocks visible. Am I still missing something?

    Hello,

On the search results that you give me I see to the left of the title of the article the date of publication of the article and under the author of the publication.

See the capture of my sight

I hope you can solve the problem

I see the source of confusion: the author block referred to in the theme’s Customizer settings is the “Posted by” section underneath the content of single posts (e.g). The element you’re referring to on your screenshot is the post meta, it is not envisaged as being removable in the theme settings. You can remove it by adding some custom CSS, such as:

    .search .post-date-blog,
    .search .post .entry-footer { display: none; }

    Hello,

This works very well and the problem has been fixed.
Thank you for your help, I will post another request soon because I can not get too much to customize the theme.

    Regards,
