    Hi!

    I’ve downloaded the packages of my site and installed it on another server. Now the site on the new server shows “an old” version of my site!!! Some translations have disappeared (not at first but after a few hours), and it doesn’t take my custom fonts into account anymore..

    Crazy things out there. I hope there’s an easy way to fix this, I really need this site to be online.
    Thanks a lot!

  • Hey Panuma,

    The moment you create the package is the time at which your site it archived. So if you create a package on January and try to run it in May then you will see the site as it was archived in January. Also did you have any warnings or errors on step 3 of the installer? Did you log show any errors?

    Here is a helpful section on the FAQs page:
    -> Browse To: https://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq/
    -> Find Section: “2. Installer”
    -> See Area/Question: “Post Install”

    Thanks lifeinthegrid for your quick response!
    I created the package a few days ago while the site is showing as it was a few months ago.

    I had a 403 error showing when trying to resave my permalinks, but this was caused by the server firewall configuration.

    I checked the FAQ (post install section) but issues are not related to a plugin.

    In fact such issue happened to me already with another website a few months ago. A lot of posts were missing.

    Well I’ll remove this install, create a new package and try install it again.

    I’ll let you know.

    So it happened that it occurred similar weird things on my site on the old server. It must have been a theme update that bugged my site.

    Sorry for the trouble and many thanks!

    No problem! Thanks for trying again, lots of times it just takes a second pass…

    Cheers~
