Site downloading all minified files twice. One with query string and one without

    I am using Version 0.9.7.2
    I am unable to make any changes on the Minify page (admin.php?page=w3tc_minify) when I click “Save all settings” I get a 403 Forbidden.
    My site is loading two of every minified file e.g. 6f89c.css and 6f89c.css?x88070

    When I update a css file, Update media query string and then empty all caches the new 6f89c.css?x38743 file is downloaded and has the changes but the 6f89c.css file still has the old data and this seems to take preference.

    Anyone seen this behaviour before?

    I removed the plugin completely and reinstalled using these instructions: https://www.webnots.com/how-to-completely-delete-w3-total-cache-plugin/

    I can now edit settings on the minify page however I can no longer update the query string, the button is disabled. Any ideas?

    Can you please share a screenshot of your issue?
    Also please share which settings you have enabled in W3 Total Cache.

    Here is a screenshot of the files being loaded in the browser, as you can see there is no query string so I cannot force my users to get the latest version.

    Hello,

    W3 Total Cache adds strings to the names of some files to make updating individual files easier. After you have made changes to CSS, Javascript or image files on your site, you can update the string added to the file names and force web browsers to use the updated files.
    Have you made any changes to the mentioned files?
