    Hello, site has gone down on update.

    tried restoring the old version 16.1.1 but it remains down even when the plugin is disabled

    also tried disabling numerous other plugins but the site remains down.

    this is the error log

    deleted plugin, downgraded to 16.1.1, downgraded php version and then switched back to original php version

    Also had the same issue. Rolled back to recover site.

    @mcnotony On checking https://www.getitforless.co.uk, we see that you reverted to Yoast SEO 16.1.1. We are sorry that your site went down after updating to Yoast SEO 16.2.

    @theoafl We are sorry you also had to roll over to a previous version to recover your site.

    Issues like this could be that your site does not meet the plugin requirements. Can you please confirm that your website meets the plugin requirements? For more information on all of the plugin requirements, you can refer to this article — https://yoast.com/help/plugin-requirements/.

    It may be related to PHP mem needed to be 256. Which we don’t have at this moment. This has never been an issue before.

    I can confirm increasing the limit has resolved the issue.

    just to add to this, this plugin has once again affected the datafeedr plugins. i have now asked for support from datafeedr. i personally believe there is a lot of overreach going on with this plugin and i’m sure others agree it is too intrusive for what it needs to do
