Site down (blank screen) after Restore from Plesk?

  • Have had to do a full restore on my server via Plesk backup and all sites ok except the WordPress sites dont load. just blank screen.. What should I check first?

    sample site is https://charlesridingtailors.co.uk/

    was running 4.7.5 after restore it took me back to 4.7.1 so I updated all the sites in plesk which was fine .. but now some are just blank?

  • I get “502 Bad Gateway” when I try to access the site. This error tells you that the gateway/proxy server receives invalid response from the upstream server.

    You can try to restart Nginx and PHP-FPM or simply you can restart the server and see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise, you can check the Nginx error logs for more details about the problem.

    Now there is a different error message. Try disabling the plugins or the theme. It seems like a compatibility issue.

    so to fix I uploaded twenty sixteen and deleted old theme from FTP.

    Then login was allowed as default theme then used. Thanks guys..

    Seems a Plesk restore is not so great!
