    Hi,
yesterday after updating Wordfence my site went down for an overload of resources and I noticed that in folder wflogs there are a lot of file updated continuously.

Is there any issues or bug or attacks? I delete plugin but site is still down.

    Could you help me, please?

  • I had a similar problem today. The wordfence plugin indicated that a new update was available. I started the update and received an error notice mentioning a conflict with the Woody Snippets plugin. My blog was then stuck in maintenance mode. After logging into the WordPress Dashboard in Safe Mode and deactive both Wordfence and Woody Snippets, my blog is back up.

I can’t log in wordpress dashboard cause server went down for overload resources and hosting put the site down.

    ??

I deactivated plugin from dashboard but still issue remains. Site is not accessible like Wordfence blocked all entry connections.

Once restore site I will deactive it forever and I will not suggest it to anyone because it broke sites.

    Hey @bambi84,

This sounds like a WordPress plugin update that didn’t go well. Can you please try reinstalling Wordfence and let me know if it helps?

Please let me know how it goes.

    Hey @bambi84,

Since I haven’t heard back from you I am assuming that the instructions solved your issue so I am marking this topic as resolved.

If however, for whatever reason, you are still experiencing this issue and it is not resolved please respond to the post, and mark this topic as “not resolved”.

    Thanks,
