After last plugin The Events Calendar updating to 6.5.1.5 and last updating of Avada Theme to 7.11.9. there is an incompatibility that causes the site to go down due to numerous resources required. I have already tried to interface with technical support but having a free license they were unable to delve further and advised me to write here that developers often read and help.

If any other user has encountered this type of problem, can you tell me how and if you solved it?

    Thanks

    Hi there @studiolonga

Thanks for reaching out to us here, there are some settings in Avada that can conflict with our plugins, under “CSS Optimization” settings: https://pasteboard.co/IV8ty0bNjnh8.png

Could you try to match those and see if that helps the issue?

Otherwise are there any error logs or screenshots that you can provide that show more of the issue?

HI, I tried changing the setting and it seemed that the site worked, but clearly removing that setting changes the CSS and therefore the style of some parts of the site in the events section. After a few minutes the site went offline as you can see at the link https://www.clone.vedaelents.it Let me know Thanks

    Hi @studiolonga

Thanks for getting back to me here, I checked the link and I can see the site is down, but I don’t think it’s necessarily because of this issue. I’m also not really seeing many reports of some large conflict between Avada and TEC. I would first take a look at this guide on setting up Avada with our plugins.

Then I would also try to conflict test the site, as well as look for any error logs or other info that could be helpful here.

I just checked one of my test sites with Avada yesterday and I did not get an error that shut down the site, so it seems to me that something else is playing a part in this.

    Hi @studiolonga

I hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to touch base and check in with you. It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from you. I was just curious if you had the chance to try out the recommendation provided above.

Let me know if there’s anything I can assist you with.

    Hi Daria,

i try and there is an important conflict between Avada and TEC (last version…)

since I don’t intend to pay for the PRO license for a TEC problem and not mine, I will be forced to change the plugin and redo the work…
It’s a shame that developers let these issues go by making their plugins unusable…

    Thanks

    Hi @studiolonga ,

    Thank you for your message.

We’re sorry to hear of your decision. Unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce the issue that you encountered in our testing environment that’s running Avada and The Events Calendar.

However, if there’s any chance that you have WordPress debugging enabled and if you could provide the error logs that were causing the site to go down, it would allow us to move forward with this thread and further determine the next course of action to help you out.

    Hi there,

It appears that we haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ll assume that the matter has been resolved. If you need any more help, feel free to start a new thread and we’ll be happy to assist you.

@studiolonga – Are you by chance any sort of TEC events widgets/elements in any of your templates? Avada comes with this: https://avada.com/documentation/events-element/

In Elementor, the Legacy Events widget (from TEC) is causing fatal 500 server error due to out of memory issue when used on the Single Post template assigned to events. I removed it, and it solved the issue.

This possibly is not a plugin or theme conflict per se, but a bug within an existing TEC widget/element you may be using. So check all events-related widgets in your Avada page builder and whatever widgets/elements are being used to create the events page. If you use the Events Element on any template pages, you might reach out to Avada and let them know there could be a problem with 6.5.
