Did you install wordpress in the root directory?

Thanks for the suggestion. I am under the impression that fantastico does this but would be interested to know how I can check. Where is the root directory?

Fantastico asks you where it should install WordPress and may even default to a /wordpress sub-folder, if I remember correctly. You should be able to find out where WP has been installed by looking up the install details in Fantastico.

WordPress is installed in applications on my Mac.

Have you installed wordpress offline..?

I installed it via Fantastico so no I don’t think so?

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and rename the index.html file in your root folder.
