site doesn't open

    I have recently created a wordpress site using the woocommerce theme. The site is working, I was able to list my items and even complete a test sale.
    The problem I have is that when I type my site name into Google it comes up as “just another wordpress site” instead of my site name and when you click on the link it takes you to a sample page instead of the home page. However if I have the site open to the admin page and then open a new browser and type in the name it goes to the sites home page and displays the items for sale. The site works great as long as the admin page is open somewhere on the computer. I have duplicated these results on different computers. I have removed the sample page from the site.
    I am not sure how to fix this problem and hope that you can help me with it.

    To customize the text go to Admin => Settingsu => General.

    Hey Thanks for the reply.

    This doesn’t seem to work, I see no place where the phrase “just another wordpress site” appears, so I can change it. The big question is why it takes me to the “hello world” sample page when I search it in google, instead of the home page of the site. I have deleted the sample page on the admin page.

    Look in settings>>general>>tagline

    For the home page go to settings>>reading>>Front page displays

    I think you have done two wordpress installs on domain.com and domain.com/shop

    Go to khillarmory.com/wp-admin and then login then settings >> general
