Site doesn't load after importing database

  • Hi Guys,

    I’m setting a word press site internally. It works fine when I load the site with default word press files in the website location. I can see the wordpress page loads and asking for to setup the username and password.

    However, When I import my existing .sql database, Page doesn’t load. When I load the page, It prints the website name in the blank white screen, that’s all.

    If i name the website as testing.com, Once i imported the database it loads just “testing.com:.” Any help is much appreciated.

    Did you make sure to change the site address and WordPress address? I would also review the steps for moving a site to make sure everything has been completed.

    yeah bro, I have used find and replace query to change the site address. I even opened the .sql database in notepad++ and ensured if any old url exist. I’m hosting multiple website in IIS 8.5. Site A and Site B works fine. I have done all the basic checks as like bindigs, hostname in host record, configuring wp-config with the database name and user i had created. However I’m getting this issue only in Site C. Actually Site C is the copy of Site B.
