Site does not display after WP update

  • doing an update to WP my website is showing a 500 error. Working with Godaddy they say that my event calendar plugin is causing the problem. I have no idea what to do or how to restore my site. – Jack

    Log into the site via FTP or the File Manager, and remove the problem plugin.

    GoDaddy has a good support team. They can help you. Work with them.

    Thanks, but, I dont know how to “Log into the site via FTP or the File Manager, and remove the problem plugin” Godaddy is good and the chat feature is great. Does WP have online chat support?

    No, WP isn’t a company. We don’t have employees or anybody to do such support with you.

    GoDaddy has a File Manager in their control panel. You can use that. It is relatively easy to do, and yes, you do need to know how to directly access files on your website when you are running a website.

    So talk to them and get some help from them.
