• We just noticed that some of the pages on our WordPress site are showing up funky in Chrome and Firefox. Looks ok in Edge and and Safari. For example, on some pages like the homepage, some of the sections are showing up left-justified instead of centered/taking up the full screen. And the bigger issue is that on other pages some of the content is showing up visually in the wrong spot or not at all including on some of the product pages including the “Lifting Devices” page that I linked to. (On this page, the top orange banner/orange tringle arrow is showing up blurred and content is missing including a comparison chart at the bottom of the page.) All plugins are up-to-date and I cleared the site cache via our hosting company and that didn’t work. Any ideas?

  • Looks like the issue is with your CSS class .et_pd_row inline affecting width and max-width.

For the sample URL you gave:

    1) I see exactly the same thing in Edge, Chrome and Firefox

    2) I don’t see the “comparison chat” in any browser, including Edge

    Here are screenshots:

    Edge: https://i.snipboard.io/BFGRIi.jpg
    Firefox: https://i.snipboard.io/Yxj21y.jpg

As you can see, without the browsers’ shells, you won’t see any difference at all.

    That said…

When I add a random query parameter to the URL like https://example.com/lifting-devices?hghjghg (doing this loads the same page, but bypasses any cache), then, in all three browsers, I see a table. Here’s a full-page screenshot from Firefox (looks the same in all other browsers): https://i.snipboard.io/l7fOPM.jpg

So there’s definitely some stale cache somewhere, but I’m unable to investigate the source at this time.

Ok, thank you. I will look further into both of these. I don’t know much about coding so I need to now do some research on what you both shared! (I ended up just resaving some pages within WordPress that were having issues and it seemed to fix the header images on some pages showing up weird. Not sure if that’s a short term fix though?)

@abretado1985 – I am trying to set the content that is not appearing full screen to max width 100% but selecting & saving that within the WordPress Divi builder is not working. Can you provide some more guidance on how I make this fix?

@gappiah – Can you give me some direction on how to best find & fix the stale cache that is causing the charts not to show up?
