Site Design Review Request

Hello,

Making the finishing touching on my blog and wanted feedback on the site’s design. Please don’t worry about the site article content – it’s just Lorem Ipsum. I’m more interested in your thoughts on layout, functionality, and usability.

A few things I am already aware of:

1) Having problems with Yahoo carousel widget, so its not actually displayed. If you click on the big image that says “Read Review”, it will take you to how that section is ‘supposed’ to look.
2) I haven’t optimized the images – I know they are big.
3) I’m aware Safari doesn’t display the text fields on the contact form correctly
4) Twitter section doesn’t hyphenate (I have no clue how to fix this without JavaScript)
