Site description dont show correctly

  • Hello,
    So, if i type my site title then its show the description that i have added, with meta tags, seo ultimate…
    But when you type some words then its shows the description from homepage website. I don’t want this, i want the description that i have added like if you type the site title in google.
    I waiting now 8 days…. But nothing.
    I think that i some have added in the header.php….

    I have this: <meta name="robots" content="noodp,noydir" />
    And this: <meta name="robots" content="noodp" >

    Is that the problem ?

  • Do you mean your site description which displayed on google search results is different from what you expected ? right ?

    Yea,
    if you type my site title full then its show the meta description.
    But when you type some words then you see the description from my homepage website.

    that’s how google work. using available meta description or auto fetch from your wp content.

    Just make sure you have meta description for every posts/pages. Page like archive, author bio, and sitemap usually does not have their own meta description so these pages will be use homepage meta description.

    I have install seo ultimate, and in that plugin i have set for every page meta description.
    And what you mean with sitemap ?
