site description dissapeared

  • Hello, I have problem with site description. I want it to be visible under my logo but it’s not there. I’m using child theme based on “Draft”. There is the option to customize logo, title and site description and it worked well. But after some more editing it just dissapeared and I don’t know why.

  • It is hard to tell exactly what went wrong. But you can always do some basic checking as follows:

    If you have a copy of header.php from original theme in your child theme then compare both files and check whether your child theme file is missing the code snippet to display site description.

    If everything is fine there please go to settings > general and check if you still have a site description available.
