site dead, everything is a white page

    Help!

    I was just updating each of my plugins in turn and one of them didnt seem to finish correctly.

    Now every page of my site is a plain white screen.

    Including the admin panel. Nothing on my site is accessable in any way.

    I believe the plugin was a google analytics plugin, though I am not sure of the name of it as the site is one I have recently bought. The site has worked perfectly for weeks until I did this update.

    PLEASE HELP

    None of that worked for me all. Followed all steps exactly, my site stayed dead at all times. No progress at all ??

    When i view the page source theres literally nothing there.

    Ok fixed it. The advice was on the right lines after all. I eventually noticed that not all plugins have folders of their own. In your plugins folder you may have individual php files that are plugins, try renaming these via ftp and hopefully your site will magically reappear as mine did.
