Hello, Could you please help me with 2 issues that I am currently facing?

1- Whenever I update the website and clear Cache I see the updated (colors fonts, css) on a new browser or incognito. But for logged in users the site still loads the old cache (before the update)

2- Whenever I disable the SG optimizer plugin to update the website, the icons (search, my account, wishlist) disappear and become square also my footer background color disappears my categories menu breaks, Basically the CSS breaks.

    ————-
I am using woodmart theme Which already has Minify CSS and combines also minify JS and combines (but I am only using Minify on both JS and CSS) I can’t understand what the problem is should I disable the theme Minify CSS and JS?

what is the right method to go from here should I disable SG optimizer fix the broken CSS and then enable it I am really lost.

    thank you.

  • Hello @hadeermj,

Duplicating Combination and Minification optimizations is not recommended, since may lead to unexpected behavior.

When the user is logged in a non-cached content is served. The issue may be related to CDN settings if you are using one, or other plugin issues. We would need the site URL, to check this further as well as the second issue you have posted.

    Hello Kristiyan.

Theme support told me its safe to use it with any caching plugin. this is the website sabilco.cz

update: When I disable the plugin now logged users see the updated website but new visitors see broken CSS website, I just found that this is only affect the Home page and sabilco.cz/market pagebut if you press on any product or any other page the normal look of the website is back don’t know why its only those two pages.

To Sum it up, If I enable SG optimizer logged in users see the old website and visitors see updated one, When I disable SG optimizer Users see updated website Visitors see Broken CSS website (I tried to fix it when the plugin is disabled but something is overriding my theme colors and settings)

I will now enable SG optimizer, once you can look into it let me know so I can disable it.

here is a screen shot of what happens exactly. https://imgur.com/a/pEuAXZP

    Hey there @hadeermj,

I had a look at your website but was not able to replicate the issue. Both the version for logged-in users and just visitors looks like the screenshot you have provided in your previous post. Is there a specific way to replicate that issue?

The only thing I’ve noticed for the visitors is a notice in the console, leading to Deffer-render blocking JS.

IF you exclude the /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js and /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery-migrate.min.js from the exclude dropdown, the error should not be present.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hello Kristiyan

unfortunately, the issue is back, also whenever SG optimizer is disabled my website won’t go on maintenance mode (it’s in the theme option) once it’s enabled this option starts working it’s like the SG optimizer is overriding the settings of my theme or something

Please, use the provided exclude functionality. If you are not sure what to exclude, pleae contact your theme support, they should know what is causing the problem. If there are any minification / combination functionalities to the theme – disable those too.
