I recommend you enable debug mode* on your wordpress unstallation and see if you can spot the problem. Sometimes outdated plugins create problems!
Which PHP version do you use?
On wp-config.php
change or add lines…
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
