    After updating Event List the site gives a 500 error. Disabling the plugin restores the site. We checked the theme and all other plugins, nothing else is causing this problem.

  • Probably you run a pre PHP 5.5 version. If so, it is a GREAT opportunity to update it.

    Ah, yes – if only I could convince my clients that cheap shared hosting is not really cheap. Thanks!

    Yup, crashed my site too on update! 504 error.
    Deleted and reinstalled, still causing errors.
    Event List now going in Room 101!

    Enable WP Debug to a log and check. gateway timeout (504) can’t come directly from the plugin i think.
