    Hi,

You have installed just Core Plugin or also add ons ?

You have done like that ? first core plugin installed and activate and then you have installed add ons if you have it.

Only this plugin installed or you have also other plugins ?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

Once you have enabled debug mode using wp-config file then you can try to activate the plugin again it will print the error.

If still, this doesn’t help then please create a ticket here

[08-Feb-2020 15:15:36 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘function’ (T_FUNCTION) in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/wp-event-manager/wp-event-manager-template.php on line 1

    Hi @effi,

In some hosting servers, files automatically become one line and it will omit all the space and new line given in the file. As per your above error, it looks like the files Line end affected.

Can you please update that file from here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wpeventmanager/wp-event-manager/master/wp-event-manager-template.php

Also, verify that after saving that file it is the same as the above link with proper line endings.

    Thank you
