Site crashed?

  • Can please somebody helps me? Yesterday I got my new site, everything was fine, and today set up a new theme (Hatch). I was editing it by adding widgets and pictures and stuff, nothing poking around the code, when suddenly site crashed AND what is worse I can’t even enter the wp-admin panel to fix it!
    Site is https://www.cydoniamakeup.com, and all you can see is this message:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/cydoniam/public_html/wp-content/themes/hatch/functions.php on line 386

    Anyone knows how to fix the “problem” when you can’t even log into the admin panel? I’m getting desperate ??

  • Use an FTP client to visit the /wp-content/themes folder and either delete or re-name the malfunctioning theme’s folder. WordPress will automatically revert to the default theme when it can’t find the set one, allowing you to log in and fix whatever problem came up.
