    Hi
    one one of my website, I have this in the log if I activate the plugin :

    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home/maisondelarecher/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/includes/ajax-endpoints.php on line 11

    the site complete crashes with a error 500, any idea?

    Hi @tohma!

    The issue was due to a syntax error on old versions of PHP – if you try to use version 1.10.1 it should work. Sorry about that!

    That said, the version of PHP that server must be running has been unsupported since at least August 2014 and has a number of security issues. It would be good if the server can be updated (ensuring you have a backup and a way to go back temporarily to fix any issues if needed).

    First : full respect to you for your support, it’s really amazing.
    Second, yes I know, I know, and worst of all, the server is… tada, our university server, yes, that’s right, on 5.3. No comment
