site crash

Same problem on my site – total crash. Had to roll back to get the site up an running again

Same problem for me on live site: blank pages, 500 internal server error. Local dev site was fine.

Same here, I could not find this thread because I searched for “WSOD”, so here is my workaround for it.

This seems to be caused when the Exif extension is disabled in PHP. Enable these extensions in php.ini and restart server.

extension=php_mbstring.dll
extension=php_exif.dll

Go in with your file manager or FTP and delete the plugin. Replace with older version if available. Should be fine with no data loss.
