I have not used the WordPress app in a while and I will be away from computer and need the WordPress app in Android to work on posts. It recommend that upgrade to the Jetpack app, which I did.

Some of my websites loaded fine (freelancewriternow.com). However when I went into the app it could not connected to the website I wanted to connect to.

From that website under Jetpack settings it states”Site connected. Connected as owner(my username.)

At WordPress.com it gives an error message

The Jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (403) [-32300]

?I’m not sure if my webhost is blocking Jetpack–I would need your IP address to check that.

However Jetpack stats show fine in the self-hosted WordPress site and on WordPress.com and the Jetpack app.

Please advise a way to fix. It seems other people are having similar errors.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @wimonews,

Thanks for your patience and for bearing with us; we’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received.

I checked the connection with Jetpack and I can indee see that there is an issue, a block in detail, which is possibly be the cause of your initial problem on the Jetpack app.

Let’s re-establish a working connection, and then we can take it from there.

Can you reach out to your hosting provider and ask them to allowlist our IPs range? you can find it here: https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/

Also, check for any security/caching plugins you may have enabled, and try temporarily disabling them to see if it fixes the problem. You may also want to search for any firewall on your server-side that might be blocking the communication with the xmlrpc.php file – your host should be able to help you with that.

Once done that, check the Jetpack connection and see if that connects okay ?? Look forward to your reply!

    Hello?@wimonews,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
