Site Broken after Plugin

Hi,
since the URLs are generated and links are there, this might be a problem in your server setup. What web server are you running?

Can you do the following test please?

Create a simple text file with a LONG file name, in your document root, use the following filename for the file (put any content you want as a test):

Sure I will perform the file test. meanwhile same URLS are working on our other domain on same server. On this domain we imported pages from other domain (which is working). After import the pages not working.

before import we installed the longer permanlink to make sure that long URLS should work.

same long Url works fine for POSTS but it’s redirecting to home when we use it for Pages on this domain.

Now you are introducing a completely different aspect: the fact that you have imported the pages and not created them on site. Seems that there is something related to this.

The topic you have opened reads: “Site Broken after Plugin”
But it seems not accurate, can you change this maybe to “Imported pages links not working” to make it more helpful to anyone else reading this in WordPress community?

I will have a look at what you wrote and come back to you here in a while.

One more thing. I tried to create new page with long URL it redirected to home.

then I tried to create new post with long URL which worked fine.

Cpanel does not allow such long names in the file name. So it was not allowed to rename. on Windows I tried to create the file and same it was not permitted.

I am sharing 2 new links. One is page and second is Post which I have created new. Page does not work but post is working fine

So it does not seem Import issues, it seems that plugin is not working for pages. please advise how to fix

since the plugin is working fine on “pages” and on “posts” on so many installations, and in your 2nd installation too, there is something special here on this installation you have.

it seems that the issue is with some specific WordPress version because we disabled all plugins and then tested but it did not work.

Further working on this we created another page on same bilytica.com/saudiarabia domain on another multisite in the network and the page is working fine

As per our conclusion this issue came after import , it means after import process your plugin is unable to handle long requests or vice versa. please advise
