Site broken after deactivating

Hello there,

I was finishing a website for someone when I noticed I needed to switch from Polylang to WPML for certain plugin functionalities (FacetWP, mostly!), the problem I’m facing right now is that, just deactivating (or deleting) Polylang breaks the site. If I deactivate the plugin and I refresh the homepage, a blank page appears only showing the page logo.

.I’ve tried resetting permalinks, changing from url redirection to parameter and so on, without luck. I’ve also tried to comment every Polylang function in functions.php just in case WP not finding the functions was the issue, again no luck.

If I turn Polylang on again, the site appears correctly. In SiteOrigin Visual Editor the pages look the same, like the error is somewhere else.

Any help?? Right now I’m stuck with Polylang and I can’t finish the project ??
