Site blocked

  • Hello,

    I’m suddenly denied access to my site ‘https://just-freedoms.com.” When I type the URL in the address bar, I get this message:

    “Internal Server Error

    “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”

    A clue could be that I had selected an option (clicked a check box) under the Dashboard Users menu, thinking I was blocking Spammers. In any case, how can I now access my site? I’d much appreciate any help.

  • Your site is loading up for me, so you may have blocked your IP address

    If you can log into your site via FTP you can check your .htaccess file for your IP address https://www.whatismyip.com/ and remove it from the blocked list.

    If you’re using a specific security plugin on your site to limit login attempts etc you may need to check with the creator to see if there’s a file that holds the blocked IP addresses so you can edit your IP out of there.
