• Hi,

After installing the Fitr plugin to the twentyten theme, I followed intructions to enter the code from https://wpwave.com/plugins/fitr-theme-options/ to functions.php, but I think I entered it incorrectly and now my whole site, admin panel, dashboard etc render as completely blank. Not only is my blog gone, but with the admin area as just a blank page I can’t even go in and correct the file. I’ve gone into the files on my server and located the incorrect code but apparently I don’t have ‘permission’ to edit the functions.php file directly on the server, so I can’t find any way of correcting the code and getting my blog back! Can anyone please help? My blog is at https://www.libertyavenues.com/onpagesandstages

    Thank you!

  • upload a fresh functions.php from the theme zip with ftp or host’s file manager
    or
rename theme folder via ftp or host’s file manager
this will bring up default theme and let you back in to test

Thanks – But I’m still having trouble.
I just tried renaming the twentyten theme folder but I still get a blank page.
Then I downloaded the theme zip and tried to replace functions.php, but my host’s file manager won’t allow me to replace the file, again it says I don’t have permission…
    Any ideas? Thank you.
