• Last night I tried to add CSS code to the footer text (in customizer), while it seems to be crashed. The site is not accessible for me (showing “connection timed out). At least that’s what I thought.
I tried to turn the safe mode on as many topics suggested, however, I couldn’t access to my wp-admin too.

This morning I tried to open the cPanel from the hosting site, which didn’t work. Until I happened to switch my internet connection to my cellphone hotspot: I CAN ACCESS TO BOTH THE SITE AND WP-ADMIN. The code I put last night was gone (looks like it was saved before publication).
And my friends also managed to access it on other IP-addresses. I am the only one unable to do so. I don’t know why and how to solve it. Someone help me out please!

    Hi @yaowinnie,

Is it possible that this is a caching issue? I’m a little confused as to how the crash could be caused by a code snippet, when you were just using the WordPress customizer.

Hi there, I contacted the hoster. And apparently the server blocked me. The reason actually confuses me:

There was an IP block because of the contact form on the site.
Next time when you are planning on doing more tests on the form then you should change the URL. Change it to something that hasn’t got the word Contact in it.
Try to avoid loading an URL with contact in it. The server checks for those URLS.

Maybe you could know better from this reply?

I’m a little confused as to how this relates to Code Snippets. The plugin doesn’t include any contact form functionality at all.

Yes, that’s also why I got confused. I did add some extra CSS to the WPform, but the snippets were copied from the wpform website. And it was about 5 updates before the server blocked me out. The code itself doesn’t even have the word “contact”. So confused.
