Site Admin Panel, WP Admin, Website down

  • *WARNING* Serious delinquent in understanding WordPress.

    Hi.
    I had a friend upload the Lolo WordPress theme for me thru my host server Doteasy. I haven’t touched it for close to 6 months because I just haven’t taken the time to break things down and understand it. I was shown that I could login and access my site thru typing my website address into a web browser followed by /wp-admin.

    This evening, I accessed this set-up by typing my site “www.pulpfree.ca/wp-admin” and followed a tutorial on how to set-up a splash screen by going thru the dashboard (?) and plugins, and searching for “Maintenance Mode” plugin. All was fine and well, uploaded and even customized the message. Then I went back into the dashboard and was clicking around where the “Customization” section was over to the left. I attempted to change the tagline of my theme and “publish” it then things seemed to freeze.

    Now I can no longer access the https://www.pulpfree.ca/wp-admin section from my MacBook’s browser (neither Safari NOR Firefox), nor can I login to the Site Admin Panel thru my host doteasy.com. I can, however, view the site AND the https://www.pulpfree.ca/wp-admin page from my android’s browser without fail.

    PLEASE forgive my complete lack of knowledge and ignorance. I tried reading thru the help section on www.remarpro.com but I just didn’t understand 95% of the jargon.

    If someone could help me I would be forever grateful.

    It would appear not. :S

    Does anyone know why this would happen on my computer? I had cleared the cache and cookies and it was happening in multiple browsers.
