• Hi — after upgrading the latest W3 Total Cache, the site admins on our WP Multisite network can no longer purge their own caches from the Performance menu. All of the Purge links result in a “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” message.

I did try disabling and re-enabling the plugin. Do I need to grant a specific capability to site admins?

I know I need to sign up for Premium Services — this is on our list — but this feature was working in the previous version.

    Thanks,
    Rod

Just an update/work-around in case anyone else has this issue. The Performance option in the floating admin toolbar does not work at all — the links point to the network WordPress sites (where regular admin don’t have privs on our Multisite). This worked in previous versions to allow site admins to clear cache on their own site.

Site admins can still browse to: Performance | Dashboard and “Empty all caches” to clear the page cache.

On our installation, the “empty only the disk caches(s)” button does not work for site-admins. It generates this fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method W3TC\Generic_AdminActions_Flush::flush_pgcache() in …/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Generic_AdminActions_Flush.php on line 250

Just found the fix for the above error here:

    Thanks
    Rod
