    Hi,
A customer reported that when they went to sign up for the mailing list that the field was getting prepopulated.

I looked up the email address they provided, and there is indeed a subscriber with that email.

I dont see how the field is getting prepoulated, they obviously arent ont he same machine, and I thought the signup for just passed the email addresses off to mailchimp, users are not stored on the website.

    Hello pierrehooker,

Would it be possible for you to share with us a link where we can test the form?

I like to suggest that this problem is most likely caused by the auto-fill feature of the subscribers browser. That means someone filled that email address before from that mobile phone and the browser saved it to auto-fill this information later on other websites.
You could look under the browsers settings for the auto fill feature and disable it or remove the unwanted email address from the settings.
