• Hi,
    I use NGG 2.07 and WP 3.6.
Today I updated the Standard theme ‘twenty ten’ to Version 1.6.

Since that update I have the following issue:

In some articles I used the singlepic tag, for example [singlepic id=1086 w=280 h=210 float=left]. After the update the pictures do not allign left anymore. Now I have the Picture on the left and the text is set below the Picture. Before the update the Picture was on the left side and the text on the right side.

You can see it here https://www.stadtklatsch.com/2013/07/11/synology-ds213-stromverbrauch/.

I know that it has something to do with the coding of the theme, because it worked before. But as is it is a standard-theme I opened this Topic here.

Does anyone have the same proplem and knows how to fix this?

    Thanks, Sambino

  • Hi Sambino

I am not sure but I thought that this was one of the features in the new 2.0 (that it is supposed to look like this). I had it down to have something to do with making the pictures responsive. I don’t appreciate the change myself and don’t know any other solution than to downgrade to the previous version (NGG 1.9.13).

Photocrati collect bug reports and say they will fix all bugs that effect many people. You can do it here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/

Maybe you’ve changed something in the style.css of the theme which is now reverted back because you updated it to 1.6.

Or something is now specifically set in the new style.css that wasn’t there before, and that has now an influence on other things.

I had something similar with updating Twenty Twelve to version 1.2. A change there forced me to make some specific changes to nggallery.css to revert back to how I wanted it to be.

I am afraid I cannot be of more help at the moment.

@sambino: it appears you have this working? If so, can you let us know how you resolved it? Floating should definitely work, so if you are still having it, I’d ask first if you can try just reinserting the singlepic (you’ll need to use the classic shortcode or click the windows media button).

if you do that and you are still having the issue, I’m wondering, as @surocharg suggested, if you submit a bug report with at least WordPress login credentials so we can see what’s happening there.

    Hi @all,

I couldn′t get it to work. I reinserted the singlepic with the shortcode [singlepic id=1086 w=280 h=210 float=left]. That didn′t help. The strange Thing about it is, when I open the preview of that article, it Looks ok. But when I save it and take a look at the frontend it Looks broken: text doesn′t wrap around the Pictures. Another issue is that here is no lightbox effect on those Pictures.

I downgraded to Version 1.9.13 and will Report a bug Report. Theme (Twenty ten) is still Version 1.6 and everything Looks OK now.

    Thanks!
