Single.php … style sheet not coming through.

  • I’m sure this is simple to fix, but it’s frustrating now.

    I copied my index.php for single.php because I’m using the same content framing and it doesn’t make much sense to start from scratch.

    Apparently, header.php and sidebar.php are referenced correctly because some of their functionality is appearing. However, nothing is styled, which means the CSS stylesheet isn’t referenced correctly.

    I have pretty permalinks on by /%category%/%name% and I’ve tried troubleshooting stepping back levels (ex. ../css/style.css), but that wouldn’t make much sense if the header and sidebar are being referenced correctly.

    Switched to URL references and it works.

    However, several of the images are missing and because those images are referenced in JS, there’s no way I’m going to go through and edit each button link to be a URL reference.

    I don’t get it. My header images and repeat images come through and they’re in the same folder as my button images.

    Still need help! Not a good solution!

    I had this problem before, actually now that I think about it, but I circumvented that by copying image and css folders from the theme directory into the root directory.

    Why does this no longer work?
