    Hello,
    We noticed an issue, with a payment recorded at double the price on Stripe.

    However, while checking the payments in the meantime, a very strange thing happened. A payment was charged double the amount the user was supposed to pay.
    However, this can only be verified on Stripe, within Woocomemrce the payment amount is correct.

    By checking in Stripe, the transaction code coincides with the one reported in the woocommerce order.
    But how can something like this happen?

    I would like to point out that it is not registered as a double order. It is a single order which in woocommerce is paid correctly, and in Stripe it corresponds to the transaction but at double the amount.

    I’m currently still using “7.8.1” because the later version had problems.

    I understand that after a single paid order in WooCommerce, there is double the amount paid for the same order in Stripe, correct?

    If correct, a few questions come to my mind:

    Is this the only case? Has this occurred before? Is there any particularity in this order? Is this happening after an update of your site? We are looking for patterns or something that differentiates this order from the others.

    On the other hand, have you enabled logging in Stripe? If not, kindly do this by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe > Settings > Advanced Settings, and selecting the Log error messages. 

    Also, to have more context and further check on this, kindly share with us the following:

    • Your System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’. Once you do this, paste your response here.
    • ?Error Log: Share a copy of any Stripe error log found under?WooCommerce > Status > Logs?(if available).

    Hi Juan,
    it is a single order, which should have been paid for example: €10 instead Stripe took €20. This is only visible on the Stripe site and not on Woocommerce where the tracked payment is correct therefore €10.

    No particularities in the order, no recent site updates, I had to revert to version 7.8.1, because I had reported in another ticket that version 8 created errors. Something reported by other users as well.

    In the meantime I have received other payments, Paypal and Stripe, the PayPal ones all seem correct. With Stripe I noticed a few other small anomalies.

    Of course Stripe is enabled and connected in woocommerce, otherwise how could it record payments on the Stripe site.

    Do I need to send the site status here? Isn’t there a way to share privately?

    Hi,
    Here’s what happens, I attach two screenshots.
    Looking carefully at the order, the payment for the product and the payment that Stripe must make to the seller are shown.
    This last anomalous sum is the one paid by the user, verified on the Stripe site.
