Single spaces disappear

  • We recently started using the Crayon highlighter as it were the best option for our blog.
    However, we then discovered that it does not depict a single space on the page, it is simply stripped from the code typed into the plugin`s window (where all is showing up correctly) Only two subsequent spaces will be depicted on the site as such.
    I dont know if it makes sense to list all our active plugins here. Might be there are already known compatibility issues.. I`ll be happy to provide a list, if needed.
    We would be grateful for any hints to the solution.
