Single Sign-On

Is there anyway to integrate SSO into WordPress as a default capability? Not using WordPress.com credentials that is. I would like to connect my nonprofit organization’s Active Directory to the site that way our communication department doesn’t have to keep separate passwords for the website. For example, FreshDesk has an option to enable this feature and all you have to do is copy the information Azure gives you.
