Single search result redirect prob shouldn’t be enabled by default
-
Heya,
Love Docket, keep up the great work!
Went a little crazy today trying to figure out why search results with a single post in them were auto-redirecting to the post URL rather than displaying as a single result.
Normally this isn’t a big deal, but I’ve got a JSON feed query that very much requires the data be returned as a list of results, even if that’s just one result. The redirect was kicking in before it could do that ??
I even looked on the set of Docket tweaks page in the WordPress GUI for it, but it’s not there — only controlled by constant (TWEAKS_SINGLESEARCHREDIRECT_DISABLED) that I never would have found if I hadn’t had to do a total WP wide search for wp_redirect and get_permalink together.
I’d like to request that it be made visible in the UI and perhaps that it be left disabled by default, though even if it were enabled by default and in the UI so it could be found, that would be understandable.
TIA for anything you can do.
