A single quote is allowed to be in an email address. I don’t know if it’ll work in WP or not, but it is a valid character for emails according to the RFC.

    Thanks for your information.

Recently client come up with a single quotes email id and not able to register in my wordpress site with that format.

I am using register plus (plugin) for registration
[Plugin: Register Plus] doesn’t support this format.
Is there any specific reasons why they block this format?.

Any one has any solution (reasons why register plus block) here Please share. Thanks for your sharing

You are allowed single quotes in email addresses. But it’s not common so I’d guess a fair bit of software might baulk at it.

    Thanks for the information.

I guess I know how to bypass (regular exp) that checking from Register plus plugin.

But It is equal to allow single quotes in site. I am little bit confused about wordpress how they deal single quotes?

What is the best way to deal single quotes in site? Apply ‘Addslashes’ in each line of code(plug in code) is not particle at this point. How can tackle this issue?. Would please share your idea/thoughts here.
