Single product image size is not customizable

  • Hi everybody,
    I really need your support!
    I am using WooCommerce and I want to customize the size of the single product image but the option to customize it does not show up on my dashboard. In the woocommerce/settings/products/display on the bottom page I can just change the size of the product thumbnails. Normally you should be able to change the single product image size and the catalog images size aswell.

    Can you please help me with this issue?

  • Hi Marvin,
    Ran into this problem today myself. What are the chances you are using the X theme? That theme as well as some others disable the image settings you’re looking for, for some weird reason.

    The solution by Lely on this page https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/problem-with-the-product-image-woocommmerce/1960/6 worked for me. You can paste the code into your functions file or make a plugin for it like I did.

    Once you upload that code, you’ll get the settings back, and can adjust them as you need. Remember you’ll need to regenerate your thumbnails after you change the settings. “Regenerate Thumbnails” is an aptly-named plugin that works well for that. Hope this helps.

    Yes that helped a lot!!! I am using the X-Theme… Thanks mate! That was important.

    Do you use the simple lightbox plugin by chance? That one is not working in the product short description. Maybe you have a solution for me aswell…
