single post not show

  • i have upload and install new wordpress ver 2.8.4
    My blog is https://www.tech2blogger.com after show home page not working links in the blog

    single post link not working, Categories links not working, Archives links not working, and about page link not working whats this problem and how i can fix this problem please help.

  • Reset your permalinks in the Settings/Permalinks and see if that helps.

    I’ll chime in with that. I have a blog on https://blog.eminorin.net/ and whenever I want to sort the blog by category, access the archive or just go to the comments section of a post or show a single post it doesn’t do that. It just changes the URL but it shows the front page.
    I am too using 2.8.4.

    And yes, although that is not the issue with me only the default permalinks work, even after I alter the .htaccess file and change permissions. I also activated the mod_rewrite plugin.

    The difference between my problem and the one of the threadstarter, as I noticed just now, is that his links lead to a dead end while mine just go back to the front page.

    Is it possible that it has something to do with the persmission for the files?
