Single.php breadcrumbs repeating links for most recent three posts/new posts

    Hello!

    I am having an issue where the Yoast breadcrumbs on my most recent three posts, and anything new posted, repeat an excessive amount of times. You need to scroll through dozens of lines of the same breadcrumb link repeating over and over again. I have activated and deactivated, attempted to install the previous Yoast version (14.8.1), checked my code, etc. The issue was first noticed today, as of Monday 9/14/2020 everything was okay. I checked for any differences between the older posts and the most recent three and found none, and I even tried to copy an older post and re-post and the issue happened with the re-post.

    Since the issue is on a live client site, I removed the breadcrumb embed from the single.php page template (it is not happening anywhere else that I am aware of). I did take a screenshot before removing it, you can view it here:

    Notice how at the bottom of the link, the links change?

    Any ideas about what could be happening here?

    Update, now it is happening on default pages and custom post types as well. I have disabled the breadcrumbs sitewide now.

    That’s very strange to see the breadcrumbs appear like that. Could you give us more details or a code example of what was added to the Yoast breadcrumbs to the single.php template file?

    If you copy and paste the code we have in our breadcrumbs implementation guide, do you get the same result?
