Single image page from gallery

@setmonkey13 – I’m not seeing anything specifically out of place, what settings are you using under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects?

Its set to No Lightbox.

I am trying to have it so that if I click on a thumbnail in a thumbnail gallery, the thumb opens/reloads the gallery using imagebrowser rather than a lightbox.
For the gallery I have Use imagebrowser effect check as yes. It opens the JPG instead of the imagebrowser.

@setmonkey13 – Setting “No lightbox” explains part of this issue, you may need to edit your existing inserted displays if they were added via the IGW (“green button”) as those displays will hold their current settings.

Just open the IGW by clicking on the image and check under the Customization panel to ensure the “Use imagebrowser” option is set to “Yes”.

Going forward, setting this option under Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Thumbnails should work for new displays being added (especially those inserted via a shortcode).

That’s how its set. But every image opens the JPG instead of the imagebrowser. I didn’t change. I didn’t have any problems till the last update.

If I roll back to Ver 2.0.66 then its fine. Its a problem when I upgrade to 2.0.66.16. Looks like I will roll back for the time being.

@setmonkey13 – I was just able to reconfigure my test site to use only the ImageBrowser as I am understanding what you are describing and want to accomplish. Although there is an issue with using the ImageBrowser with (NextGEN Legacy) templates which does appear to be what may be happening with your site.

We will be looking into this further as we just noticed it ourselves very recently (and very late into this last release cycle).
