Single Footnote appears repeated three times

  • Hi !
    Every time I insert a footnote in a text the footnote number jumps straight to 3 (in the text), and then at the bottom of the page, the same footnote text is entered three times in a row.
    For instance I get at the bottom of my page:

    1. This is your footnote text
    2. this is your footnote text
    3. This is your footnote text

    Any ideas how to fix this?
