    HI there,
I’m developing a site on private PC and I’m really new to wordpress.
I’ve installed the latest version of the events calendar plugin and everything works fine except the single events page layout.

I’m tring to set the page layout to fullwidth setting option in the theme customization section end in the plugin setting “default event layout”.

I’ve tried also the others setting but the width of the single event page never changes.

Tried to google for a solution for hours and also on www.remarpro.com and tribe events sites, but no luck.

My theme is Vantage by siteorigins

    Hi Gabriele,
    Thanks for writing in,

My first suggestion would be switching to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen, and see if the event width looks as expected.
If it does, then we need to focus on your theme and how it affects the posts layout.
It’d be good if you could have an online staging site to have a look.

Hi sjaure, thanks for your reply.
Tried your suggestion but in Twenty Seventeen i have not option to switch the page layout between FUll Width/Full Width with sidebar ecc. like i have in vantage theme.

In twenty seventeen the “single event page” in looking correct because i have only one layout (the one that center the content in the page) for all the pages.
The problem with vantage theme, if I have undestand correctly, is that the single event detail page is not “Type Event” and so the theme don’t recognize it and doesn’t diplay the type of page to style in pagebuilder.

I don’t have an online staging site, but if you can/want we can connect with some remote tool so you can view all.

Thank you very much for your attention

    Hi @skullman01

It sounds like the issue here is actually with your theme in this case.

With that being said, one option is to see if there’s any way you can switch around the stylesheets and page templates to see if that makes any difference in the appearance:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/important-settings-for-the-events-calendar-events-calendar-pro/#theme

I would also recommend reaching out to your theme developers to see if they have any solutions for how to resolve this one for you.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Jaime
