Single Event Template Has Disappeared

    I’ve been trying out the Plugin for a new website

    I’m using the block editor and theme TwentyTwentyTwo

    I have been configuring the various standard templates that come with TwentyTwentyTwo for the site.

    When I tried to save my changes to the single Event template, it failed and now I don’t have an Event template. Now when adding an event, the default template is 404. It’s just really frustrating.

    I deactivated and removed The Events Calendar plugin and then reinstalled it – still no template, although the Archive Template is still there.

    How can I fix this – I’m loath to pay for the Pro version if it breaks this easily.

    Okay, now I’ve lost all my templates – I only have theme templates shown in the block editor, all the templates installed by ‘The Events Calendar’ have now disappeared.

    Thank you for reaching out!

    You are 100% right, we don’t have full support for FSE themes yet (e.g.: TwentyTwentyTwo).

    As you can imagine we are not happy with this situation, alas with our biggest release in history just around the corner, we had some difficult prioritization decisions to make.

    The good news is that we’ll tackle this really soon and will report back here once we do.

    In the meantime, alas, the only “workaround” is to use a non-FSE theme I am afraid.
