Single Event display

I am working on a website that is still in construction mode so sorry for not posting a link. I hope someone can help me with the help of the pictures I am attaching.

I use the calendar’s free version. Month view and list view are perfect (see picture 1 for list view), however, when I look at the single event page, the title of the event shows as an overlay of the picture and since the font is pretty big and white, you can only see a few letters.

Is there any way to either have the same display as in the list view or to make the font smaller and add line-break or to have the title next to the picture in a red box?
