single event background won't change

trying to set background to rgba (0.0.0.0)
keeps coming up as #FAFAFA
I have edited plugins/the-events-calendar/resources/tribe-events-full.min.cssbut it keeps using /plugins/the-events-calendar/resources/tribe-events-full.min.css?ver=3.6.1
